Snowball Rally Eve

Tis was the night before the rally and all though the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Tomorrow or later today even it will begin, a thing so remarkable that I dare not speak it's name

The quest goes on even though the jumpers for goal posts have got closer

Snowcamp released a revised slope list including some adjusted opening times... Do they not realise I had already done my route tut ;-) so one night of hitting the books and the internet (sounds like I'm back at school) and Angry Koala and I have adjusted the route to make it shine even brighter than before.

From here to there, via the other one and back again

Yesterday was 'route day' after incorporating some amazing Blue Peter training in the use of sticky back plastic we, AngryKoala and I, built the map listing all possible slope destinations






Then the hard work began in trying to work out how many slopes the SCUK'd team could feasibly visit during the rally.

Progress was initially slow, but with the cunning use bacon sandwiches, Pringles and cheesecake we formulated a route that even Ranulph Fiennes would be proud of.

This route has now been sent off to the furthest corners of the world to mature and grow strong like the mighty oak and then and only then will it be ready for the torturous journey ahead.

Arrived in Geneva

We've got to Geneva earlier than scheduled but there's no win to enjoy as it just means we're having to wait longer for the transfer to Tignes. Met up with Mini, Jeff, Andy, Scott, Phil and Nick who flew in from Manchester for drinks and introductions.

Bugger still not done the application form... Must try harder before SB Rally training in Tignes..... Yay only 12 hours and I'll be on a plane to Geneva
